Twelve tools. One ERP brain.
Every tool available to your AI agents, what it does, and the kind of question it answers.
B1Nexus exposes twelve tools to connected AI agents. Seven answer questions; five carry out work inside SAP Business One. Everything below becomes available the moment the server is connected and the tool is enabled in your configuration.
Read tools
These retrieve information. They are typically enabled first, because they carry no risk of changing anything in the ERP.
Query Business Partner
Customer and vendor master data — contacts, balances, credit limits, payment terms and history.
Query Sales
Quotations, sales orders, deliveries and A/R invoices across any period, customer or item.
Query Purchase
Purchase requests, purchase orders, goods receipts and A/P invoices by vendor or item.
Query Items
Item master data, stock by warehouse, pricing, availability and movement history.
Query Entire Data
One tool covering 340+ SAP Business One objects — anything the Service Layer exposes.
Customer 360
The whole customer in a single call: profile, ageing, open orders, recent activity and history.
Item 360
The whole item in a single call: stock by warehouse, pricing, sales history and purchase history.
Action tools
These create documents or record decisions in Business One. They are enabled deliberately, per implementation, and run through the Service Layer so standard validation and authorisations apply.
Create Sales Order
Turn a customer request into a sales order with the correct pricing and terms.
Create Purchase Order
Draft and post purchase orders with vendor, items, quantities, prices and delivery dates.
Create Purchase Request
Raise purchase requests directly from reorder gaps or a user instruction.
Approval Decision
Act on documents waiting in Business One approval stages — approve or reject, with remarks.
Create Activity
Log calls, meetings, tasks and follow-ups against any business partner or document.
Beyond the named tools: 340+ objects
Named tools cover the paths people walk daily. Query Entire Data covers the rest — any of the 340+ business objects the SAP Business One Service Layer exposes, from production orders and BOMs to service calls, bank transactions and user-defined objects. If Business One holds it and the Service Layer exposes it, an agent can reach it when you allow it.
Permissions and scope
- Tools are exposed per implementation — agents cannot call what you have not enabled.
- Read and write are independent: a read-only deployment is a normal starting point.
- Calls execute against your own environment under credentials you control.
- Every call is a defined operation, not improvised database access.
Most teams begin with the read tools and Customer 360, add Approval Decision once the workflow is trusted, then open up document creation.
